A New Look, the Same Care – From the Goat Milk Formula Experts

Share post

We’re excited to share a refreshed look for Nannycare, launching this May - along with a few gentle updates to our formulation. While the packaging may look a little different, everything you know and trust about Nannycare remains the same and stays at the heart of what we do.

As our new look rolls out in stores and online, we’re here to guide you through everything you need to know.

A Fresh Look, Glowing With Goodness

Our updated packaging brings our mission to life: Nannycare Cares. It reflects the heart of who we are – thoughtful, science-led, and deeply committed to supporting families.

The new design is inspired by:

Closeness – celebrating the special bond between parent and child

Nature – echoing our natural ingredients and sustainable practices

Glowing with Goodness – reflects the care and quality inside every tin

What’s Changed in the Formula?

We’ve made a few careful adjustments to our formulation. But at heart, everything you know and trust about Nannycare remains the same.

What’s new:

Now with added 2’-Fucosyllactose (2’-FL), a type of Human Milk Oligosaccharide (HMO) - This complements the naturally occurring oligosaccharides already present in our Nannycare goat milk, which contains levels around 8 times higher than those found in cow’s milk.

New plant-based DHA source - We’ve switched to a sustainably sourced DHA from Schizochytrium sp—a microalgae—replacing marine fish oil powder

Slightly more calcium - Now with 63mg per 100ml (previously 59mg Follow on Milk)

Slightly less vitamin C - Now with 12mg per 100ml (previously 13mg), still fully within the levels required to meet your baby’s nutritional needs.

Everything else remains true to our trusted approach—starting with our whole goat milk base, using fewer added oils, and staying committed to minimal processing and higher levels of natural ingredients.

A Note on the Tin Size and Price

You may notice a small change in the amount of powder in our Follow on milk tins. We’ve moved from a 900g tin to a slightly smaller 800g tin, in line with our competitors.

We want to be open about why. At Nannycare, we’ve always worked hard to keep our formula as fair and affordable as possible for families. In fact, we’re proud to have held our prices steady for five years—including throughout the challenges of the Covid period.

By making a modest reduction in powder per tin, we’ve been able to keep any price increase to an absolute minimum—ensuring our formula remains accessible, without compromising on the quality you trust.

This change helps us continue offering the gentle, whole goat milk-based formula we’re known for, while responsibly managing rising production costs in a way that puts parents first.

Toddler Milk: New Name and Scoop Size

If you’re using our Stage 3 formula, you may notice a few small changes designed to make things clearer and even better suited for your little one’s needs.

A new name: We’ve updated the name from Growing Up Milk to Toddler Milk—a simpler, clearer way to reflect its purpose for children aged 1 year and over.

A new scoop size: We’ve introduced a slightly larger scoop (5.1g instead of 4.3g), so it’s important to use the one provided in your tin to ensure you're preparing it just right for your toddler.

Nutritional updates:

Slightly lower energy: Now 250kJ (59kcal) per 100ml (previously 280kJ / 66kcal)

Gently reduced levels of fat, carbohydrate and protein

Minor adjustments to vitamin and mineral levels, while continuing to support the nutritional needs of growing toddlers

As always, these changes have been made with care, in line with evolving guidance, and our continued commitment to providing high-quality, goat milk-based nutrition for your little one.

Will My Baby Notice a Difference?

Most babies and toddlers will make the switch without any issues. If you'd prefer a gradual switch, you can mix feeds from your current tin and the new one over a few days: on Day 1, swap one feed for the new tin; on Day 2, swap two feeds - and continue this pattern each day until you've fully transitioned. It should take about a week or so.

The original formulation will remain available on our website and Amazon while stock lasts, if you'd like to transition gradually.

Whichever formulation you’re using, you can feel reassured it’s the same trusted Nannycare quality, backed by decades of expertise. And as always, our team is here to support you with any questions.

What Happens Next?

From May onwards, you’ll start to see our new look appearing on shelves and online—including at Tesco, Morrisons, Ocado, and very soon on our own website. For a short time, you may still come across both our previous and new packaging as we complete the rollout. Don’t worry—our website will clearly show which version you’re purchasing.

From All of Us at Nannycare...

This change marks a new chapter for Nannycare – one that celebrates our values, our community, and the families who trust us every day. Every change we’ve made – from the tin design to the formulation – has been carefully considered with your little one in mind.

Thank you for being part of our journey. As always, Nannycare Cares – and that will never change.

If you have any questions, our friendly team is here to help.
